WELCOME TO AWCC

You can expect to be greeted by a group of people that are excited about you being our guest.   As you enter someone will give you a bulletin, prayer list, and a song sheet.  You will NOT be called out or recognized in the service.  We know this is a time for you to see what we are about and we do not want you to feel uncomfortable in any way.

 TIMES:
Our times of services are as follows:   Sunday AM Worship is 11 AM;  and 6:30 PM Sunday for Prayer and Bible Study; Wednesday Evening Bible Study is 7 PM.   A Nursery is provided in our Sunday AM service and we have Youth Group Wednesday at 7 PM..

MUSIC:
Our goal each week is to have a blended service of a variety of hymns, modern classics and contemporary praise songs.  While we do not have a praise band, some songs are led with background music on CD and others are led by piano.

COMMUNION:
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper each week during our worship time. All immersed believers are invited to take the bread and cup as they are passed, then eat and drink in prayerful remembrance of Jesus.

OFFERING:
Each week, we have an opportunity to give back a portion of the money God has given us to manage. While guests are welcome to give, it is certainly not required, we desire to give you something as you visit with us. We simply invite you to place a guest card in the plate as it is passed.

MESSAGE:
Allegheny West Christian Church places a high premium on true and relevant teaching.   At Allegheny West, messages are biblically accurate and life-applicable.

TIME OF DECISION:
At the end of every message, everyone has an opportunity to reflect on the message and decide to let God's Word take root in their lives. If you'd like to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ--or if you'd simply like to pray with someone, this is the perfect time to come forward to make your decision known.
